TIMBERLAND WINDOWS AND DOORS .
This is our first BLOG of the year 2020.
Greetings from Bulawayo . We have decided to re introduce ourselves in this BLOG . There are some who may not know us and others who might enjoy being reminded about our story .
Our business is the custom manufacture of high quality wooded windows and doors for a wide variety of building projects . Much of the wood we use is sustainably harvested teak but other timbers are used . Some choices include Cypress , Mukwa , Pine ( Natural and Painted ) and Oregon .
Our clients range from the home owner who is replacing or remodelling a front door , through complete homes and Safari Lodges and larger commercial projects .
There are many lovely photographs on our site . They tell fine stories . Over the years we have supplied happy clients throughout the sub region .
Typically a customer contacts us with an original idea that requires some fine carpentry for a window and or door combination . This might be a simple variation in size to say , a usual door to something more creative and extensive . They may provide us with a sketch , a photograph or a drawing . We interpret that in a technical drawing of our own which is presented to the client . This drawing is approved , sometimes after a few alterations . At this stage manufacture can begin . Depending on the circumstances and size of the order , this can take from two weeks to a month .
This business has been managed , owned and directed by the same team for over thirty years . Our staff of 25 has been with us for a long time too . Averaging over twenty years service each . We have a reputations of excellence in our service and products .
